Abstract
Data entering and registration systems are essential in artifact management. It is important to have collection of artifacts that is more efficient and systematic. This research compares the data entering system management and artifact registration of Jabatan Muzium Malaysia with that of Muzium Seni Asia, University Malaya. The three main elements are the registration, classification and artifact collection information. The manual system is still being used in artifact registration at Jabatan Muzium Malaysia and Muzium Seni Asia even though information technology is available to enable a more systematic and easier method for registratio
