Abstract
Vitamin and isotonic drinks formulated from Engkala (Litsea garciae) bark methanolic crude extract were developed using carefully selected ingredients. The Wellness Engkala Refresh is an isotonic drink, while the Engkala Wellness Boost is a vitamin-enriched beverage. The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) confirms that, although the methanolic crude extract was initially classified as a potentially harmful substance, it is safe for consumption after undergoing optimized extraction and freeze-drying techniques. These processes effectively remove residual methanol while preserving the extract’s bioactive compounds. Comprehensive standard finished product testing verified that the formulation met all required safety and quality specifications. Additionally, a sixmonth stability study confirmed the product's compliance with industry standards, ensuring its efficacy and shelf-life stability.
