Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of integrating educational games in teaching ICTL subject on Application Software topic. The research design used was experimental research which involving the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group was taught using educational games while the control group was taught using conventional method. Samples in this stud) consisted of 40 Form Two students from one of the boarding school in Sarawak. Four research instruments used in this study were the pretest, posttest, questionnaire, and interview with five students from the experimental group. Overall. the implementation of Educational games in teaching ICTL subject on Application -Sore, arc topic give the positive effect towards the students· achievement in test. Thus. it can he concluded that educational games has a potential to be practiced in ICTL subject in order to vary the existing teaching method. Some recommendations which may be pertinent to future researchers are proposed so that the scope of this research can be improved through in future research.
