Abstract

The first UNFRAME Showcase presented selected final projects from GKC2193 Motion Design students, with a focus on film title sequences. More than just an academic assignment, the project explored how title design functions as a visual introduction to a story, including setting tone, mood, and the film’s concept through motion, typography, and imagery. The works demonstrated how motion design fuses cinematic aesthetics, motion design and 3D animation to shape memorable audience experiences. Across the film industry, title sequences are often celebrated as a canvas for innovation and the arts. Held in conjunction with the 21st Mini Film Festival, UNFRAME highlighted the expanding role of motion design in contemporary screen culture, bridging the classroom and the creative industry.
