Abstract

This study aims to identify how a homosexual couple practice their daily routine based on ten elements; financial management, households management, friends and society, leisure activities and conflict settlement and decision making pattern within the context of the local culture, the important of religion, special attraction towards their partner, sexual relationship, future plan and their willingness to change their sexual orientation. This research also hopes to find out what are the factors that influenced the male couple to be together just as heterosexual couple does. This study is based on qualitative research; each partner of the participating couples was interviewed separately in a semi-structured interview. The instrument used in this research, which was invented by McWhirter & Mattison (1984) and has been modified to suit the Eastern culture. The finding shows how the homosexual couples that live together deals with their routine activities and it's not much different from the heterosexual couples. Mostly the couples are working and they live with their own way which their belief it is the right life path for them. However, understanding and early intervention are needed to reduce the influenced into the homosexual "world".
