Abstract

This thesis is about developing a CD-Based Kids Learning Edutainment for age 3 to 6 by using authoring tool. It is to develop to provide information in an interactive way beside the conventional way of teaching children. Research and findings have been undergone to various CD-Based coursewares available in the market. This courseware consists of three modules, reading module, mathematic module and shape module. Each of these modules will teach the children to learn and recognize words, alphabets, numbers and shapes. The purpose of including exercbes in the modules is to help the children recall what they ¢ have in the lesson module. The development of this project uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method as the guideline to make the analysis and design in order and to achieve the objectives.
