Abstract

This study aims to identify multimedia elements usage effectiveness in information delivery through multimedia. The aim of the multimedia production is to introduce Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development, University of Malaysia Sarawak. Specifically, this study intends to develop a multimedia presentation with effective and appropriate multimedia elements that give impact on information delivery processes with emphasizes on usability, level of understanding, attractiveness and mental load. The multimedia elements chosen are text, graphic, animation, interactivity and audio. Evaluation done through survey forms which was distributed and collected online. The evaluation participated 34 respondents who accepted the invitation to evaluate the multimedia. The invitation was given randomly base on an e-mail list of Sekolah Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang alumni. Consequently, data from the survey. forms was analyzed using Statistical Package. for Social Science (SPSS) for Windows Version 11.0 to test the study assumption. Overall, collective findings indicated that there exist moderate relationship on multimedia elements usage which contribute to the information delivery effectiveness through multimedia.
