Abstract
This study is conducted to make an early survey about perception and indicate the relationship between perception of DG 29 teachers in primary school toward application of PTK with independent factors such content of assessment PTJ( salary planning, career development and competence improvement of teacher. This study is conducted for primary school teachers in Kuching and Samarahan. There 56 respondents were involved in this study. The statistical package for social science (SPSS) Window Release Version 11.5 application was used for data analysis. The result of this survey showed positive perception DG 29 teacher towards of PTK. Result of t- test analysis and one way ANOVA shows that there are no significant differentiation between teacher perception with demographic factors such sex, age, location of school and length of service. Pearson 'r' analysis that have been used in this study showed that there are significant relationship between teacher perception in application of PTK toward the contents of PTJ(promotion or career development and competency improvement showed a moderate strength of relationship which the 'r' is at level of 0.41-0. 70.. Researcher have recommended a few steps to increase positive perception towards the application of PTK to make more effective. Researcher also have make some recommandations to future researchers.
