Abstract
Mesoporous tin oxide (SnO2) with high surface area was synthesized in alkaline condition. The synthesis of the product was achieved using cationic surfactant (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide: CTAB) as template and hydrated tin chloride (SnCl4.5H2O) as inorganic precursor.
