Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between personality type and style of leadership among leaders. The dependent variable in this study was style of leadership while the independent variable was type of personality. A survey methodology and instrument of questionnaire were use to obtain data and from a sample of 35 respondents. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential non parametric statistics. Frequency was used to determine the distribution of gender, race, working experiences, marital status and age. Chi-quare test was used to find out the significant relationship between type of personality and leadership style while regression was used to find out the dominant personality type(X2= 5.381, p=0.020). Personality type B is found to be the dominant personality type that influence managers' leadership styles (R` =0.387 , p=0.000)
