Abstract

This study is advocated to study the impact of quality assurance in higher education on students’ knowledge, skills, competencies acquired by the students and their chances of employment in the labor market. The data collected from the 364 respondents are based on the questionnaire. The study employed the PLS-SEM to assess the reliability and validity of measurement models. The study used bootstrapping (5000 sample) will evaluate hypothesized relationships between underlying structures in structural models. The finding founds that the universities’ infrastructure and technical equipment, the quality of the educational process, practical activities, and student research activities positively influence students’ knowledge, skills and competencies. On the others hand, student research activities positively influence employability. The study also mentioned that the policy recommendation to this study. The main policy implication is to improve the quality assurance in all aspects of the university including the quality of the educational process, practical activities, and student research activities. In order to increase opportunities for employment of students in the labor market and promote the knowledge, competencies, skills.
