Abstract

This study examines parents' satisfaction towards service quality of private kindergarten in Kuching. Five dimensions in SERVQUAL are applied as the indicators to influence parents' satisfaction. There are 400 sets of questionnaire distributed to the respondents and the response rate is 100% in this research. Data collected is analysed by employing descriptive statistic, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation and multiple linear regressions. In this research, Pearson Correlation shows the five SERVQUAL dimensions have positive relationship with the parent satisfaction. The multiple linear regressions is used to predict the impact of independent variable on dependent variable in order to explore the best predictors of parents' satisfaction out of the five dimensions in SERVQUAL. In a nutshell, empathy is the most significant and dominant in this research.
