Abstract
This research focus on the creation of new embroidery design with the notion of combining both machine and hand embroidery based on "Jahitan Cabut Sarawak" as the source of inspiration. The creation of the design will be applied into different fashion product nowadays, as a result to expand and to commercialize the contemporary design of this idea. Likewise, these contemporary embroidery designs combine both the usage of machinery and hand-made based on traditional and modern aesthetics value. At the end, the creation of such embroidery will be represented in term of today fashion product, such as craft for local market.
