Abstract

Research conducted on the management of the use of indigenous tilted in the Gawai celebration for the community Iban in Selangau. The objective of this research is a concept and program custom angled like before, during and after the day device for the Iban. The research method used is observation and interviews to obtain data on the location of the study. The method used is qualitative method. In the methodology of this study describes a method of collecting data and information from informants who are directly involved in the research. Next, the results of these data will be analyzed in the findings of this research explain in more detail. The investigation appeared inclined customs still have the same program and the concept of past and present, but its use was very short because most of the Iban community is now embracing Christianity.
