Abstract

Nowadays, the cases of mental illness have been increasing. This is due to the changing of society today which may cause stresses upon society member. Besides, relationship issues also could cause mental illness problem among the teenagers. The prolonging effect of this problem could cause mental illness on minority of the society and untreated mental illness may lead to depression, self-harm, addiction and even suicidal cases. The solution proposed is a peer listener chatbot application which can provide users with companionship, so that users does not feel lonely. This proposed solution only focuses on relationship issues where this application will provide advices to users while chatting with the users. Depending on the users’ problem, the proposed application will provide different responses with advisable knowledge accordingly. Besides, this application also acts as close friends where user can communicate with the bot in a personal space and feel comforted at the same time. Therefore, there is no time limit for usage of the proposed peer listener chatbot application.
