Abstract

Restaurant finder application is an application allows people to search restaurant and food. People can search for the nearby restaurants by input their current location. Besides, people also can input the food which they want to eat and the available restaurants that contains the foods they want to eat will show in the application. In most of the existing restaurant finder application, there are only a screen shot of the menu show in the restaurant information. And, the existing application cannot find any restaurant and food in Kota Samarahan. The purpose of this project is to develop a restaurant finder application which are functionable in Kota Samarahan. After that, the E-menu is included in the application to allow people to view more information of the foods rather than a screen shot of restaurant menu. In E- menu, people can view the calories and the ingredient of the food. The methodology used to develop the application is Prototype Model. The application is design after reviewing three existing restaurant finder application which are OpenRice Malaysia, Offpeak and Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan.
