Abstract

The explosive growth of electronic commerce (E-commerce) and the rapidly increasing numbers of users on the internet to purchase has cause online shopping a more and more common thing. Before one buying the product on an online marketplace, consumers tend to compare prices from one marketplace to another. Even though the number of online marketplaces has increased much more but the routine of a usual consumer to purchase something online remains the same. With a platform that allows consumers to compare prices from multiple different online marketplace, online shopping would be much more convenient and enjoyable. At the same time, the platform should provide the feature for consumers to sell their pre-owned products. At the current moment there is no available place for consumers to get rid of their sport equipment when they are upgrading their gears, or just no longer used products. Arguably consumers can turn themselves into one of the online marketplaces, but when at the same time one wanted to buy something is where exactly things get messy. Therefore, Athletics is proposed in this project to solve all the problems mentioned earlier. Users can compare prices among different online marketplace out there. Also, at the same platform, users can sell their pre-owned products which definitely brings so much more convenience to all users regardless of buying or selling.
