Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of workplace telepressure on wellbeing (job satisfaction, life satisfaction and family satisfaction) of TVET educators in selected public TVET institutions. Questionnaire were administered to 104 educators of TVET in Kota Samarahan and Kuching, Sarawak. Spearman’s Correlation was used to test the hypotheses of the study. It can be confirmed that workplace telepressure has no significant relationship with job satisfaction among the educators. However, workplace telepressure was reported to have a negatively significant relationship with both life and family satisfaction among TVET educators. The findings of this study may provide insights and knowledge for both practitioners and future researchers for the purpose of improving current policy on work-life balance
