Abstract

The rapid growth ofdigital technology nowadays making the uses of computer is spreading the world over. Holographic display is one ofthe best medium to channel the information in a creative and innovative way in many field such as education, business, commercial, entertainment, games and many more. The fast changes in virtual technology forcing us to change our way in exploring the world and responding through the virtual environment. Holographic display is one ofthe new medium ofthe teaching and learning process in visual art since it can give interesting exploration towards 2D and 3D rather than conventional learning process. This research involving students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato Patinggi Haji Abdul Gapor, Kuching who have been taken Visual Art subject. The research findings that was collected via feedback form shows a good number ofstudent that gives a positive response regarding the interest and motivation oflearning through the usage of holographic display. The learning approach based on the holographic display can transform an information oftext to a new interesting and dynamic pattern oflearning. This can be achieve through the usage ofadditional media such as audio, video, animation and graphic.
