Abstract

This research aimed to identify the factors of stress and student perfonnances effecting ognitive Sciences undergrad uate students in UN IMAS. Stress is common in life as stress is one of the natural defensive mechanism that produced by body aga inst pressure. Stress can affect people regardless their background , religion, age, gender and others as different peopl e have different types of stress. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors ofSlress thal effecting undergraduate students. The five factors which are Self-frustrati on. Self-conflicts, Changes, Pressures and Self-imposed had been take into consideration. The questi onnaire Student-Life Stress Inventory (SLSI) by Gadze lls 's (1994) is used in this re ·carch. Result presented by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis by using SPSS. For infe rential analysis, the Pearson Correlation Coefficient is applied to validate the relationship between factors of stress and demographic factor. Financial problems and outcast by society are predictor for Self-frustration while workload and family is factors for Pressures. Test anxiety is predictor fo r Self- imposed.
