Abstract

This research is a study that discusses the audience's perception of Mak Yong performances of Iraditional theater. This study examines Ihe views of the audience to the art of thealer in Mak Yong performances, music, dance, costumes or clothing Mak Yon g, the language used and the song played. In addition, the researchers want to identify the level of IUlowledge and acceptance of traditional audience to the theater. Researchers use quantitative methods of using the wholesale questionnaires distribuled to respondents 10 obtain data to answer the research problem the researcher. The questionnaire consists of three parts, pari A 10 answer the first objective researchers. Pari B to answer Ihe objectives of both Ihe researcher and the C is the background of the respondents would answer the questionnaire researchers. Researchers using Stati stical Package For The Social Sciences 20.1 (SPSS 20. 1).
