Abstract
The research of this Tekalung tree bark is a new invention in the textile industry. The creation of this fiber from the tree bark requires specific process and technique. Although resources for this tree bark are difficult to be found, the potential of it to be produced into fiber are high even though it lengthen and stretches is not the same as the fiber that had been produce from wools and animal hair. The fiber of this tree bark has been an alternative in textile industry by creating threads from nature resources. The final product will be a small rug for decorative purpose using Golden Snock technique.
