Abstract

The main objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between the internet reporting and firm value for the Bursa Malaysia listed companies at the year 2013. This study covers eight non-financial industries which are consumer products, construction, industrial products, mining, plantation, property, technology as well as trading and services in Malaysia. The results show that internet reporting has positive significant relationship towards the firm value. This stud also examined the effect of three factors, namely size, leverage, and growth at the firm value. The results show that size and growth have positive sighnificant association with the firm value. The findings also present there are negative significant relationship between leverage and firm value which is inconsistent to the hypothesis.
