Abstract

AniSAR able to help students to visualize the content that they learn in 3D and provide an exciting way to understand Science (Animal). AR will show overlaid content on real-world scenes in real-time. It will be able to introduce the students to AR-based game and will provide an interactive learning method. Here we report the test and evaluate the effectiveness of the AR mobile application game using Reduced Instructional Materials Motivation Survey (RIMMS). We show that AniSAR has several advantages in validating the effectiveness of the AR mobile application among the primary three students. A total of seven students (primary three) has participated in the study. The finding results for attention (mean, 4.2; S.D, 0.831), relevance (mean, 4.2; S.D, 0.821), confidence (mean, 4.2; S.D, 4.2) and satisfaction (mean; 3.9; S.D, 1.111). The highest mean score indicates that for their teaching and learning process, students and teachers believe that this AniSAR application is needed to increase students' attention in the classroom. We show that AniSAR application is achieved the highest value for attention based on the ARCS model. The attention given by users when using the AniSAR application is very encouraging.
