Abstract

Assistive System for Partially Blind and Visually Impaired People Using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) : RFMarker is a microcontroller-based solution that offer features to assist the partially blind and visually impaired people to perceive and identify certain objects with ease and less complication. The main purpose of developing this system is to assist the partially blind and visually impaired people to manage their belongings in an indoor environment or their living space. This system can reduce a lot of inconveniences in managing their personal objects and items, while keeping a simple interface to organize each of the tag in the system. This system focusses on giving audio format as an output of the data to the visually impaired and partially blind people.
