Abstract

The Internet has become an important part of the lives of everybody today. The Internet has proved to be a reliable tool for networking, sharing information and many more applications for people from around the world. The internet activities of a person are monitored and recorded by various means without their knowledge. Therefore, online security is a genuine concern for web clients who intend to visit interpersonal contact locales, make an online purchase, or take an interest in internet diversions, as they need their privacy to be assured. Internet browsing is not anonymized because many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) could legally sell information to users without notifying users. ISPs are monitoring and recording people's internet activities. It is very difficult to defeat network spies and snooping attempts as there is enough network snooping devices on the market. Such problems can be curb by using an anonymous browsing network router. However, most routers that provide anonymous browsing are not portable. People are going to be able to browse anonymously without being traced from this project. Besides, attempts at network snooping and spying may be defeated. At last, a Raspberry Pi can be used to build a portable The Onion Routing (TOR) router.
