Abstract

Understanding user requirements is essential part of any development of web-based system and is critical to the completion of such system. However, specifying these requirements is quite complicated. Therefore, this paper describes the detail analysis of user requirements to design and develop a webbased system called Ezy-Jenazah for Islamic burial services. Ezy- Jenazah is proposed because the current process of Islamic burial services is done manual and no digital platform is available to gain related information about the burial services. These services include information about what to do before death, during death and after death and burial arrangement expenses. From the online survey conducted to identify the user requirements, several main points need to be considered before designing and developing any burial service web-based system. These includes the suitable content related burial service information, responsive web design, proper user interface and suitable architecture.
