Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between supervisory working alliance and supervisee's satisfaction among counselling students. There, have been several researches done about this field in western world, following by research done in Asian where the theories applied to see if different population could affect the working alliance of supervisor and supervisee. The current research had been explored before by many researches thus supported in the literature review by prior studies. The method used in this research is quantitative research design and the data is collected from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Kota Samarahan (N= 85). Based on the result, there is a strong positive relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The hypothesis is rejected. The correlation between supervisory working alliance and supervisee's satisfaction showed strong positive significant relationship (r=.655, n=85, p= . 000). The result indicated that high supervisory working alliance contributed to high supervisee's satisfaction.
