Abstract

The main goal of this study is to examine the responsibility of management team that managing cultural performances in Sarawak Culture Village. The methodology that been used for this study is qualitative which is collecting data through the observation and interview with several respondents that involved in the cultural performances management at Sarawak Culture Village. The researcher found that, the cultural performances held at Sarawak Culture Village did not have a proper management compare to other production. Results from this study eventually can be used as a guide for the management of the cultural performances in order to have a systematic workflow in managing the show. The interviews show that cultural performances at Sarawak Culture Village were managed and monitored by choreographers and other staff due to the absence of stage managers in the organization of Sarawak Culture Village.
