Abstract
The research study about challenges faced by Japan in maintaining national identity. In this study, the actions ofthe Japanese government will be examined in their efforts to preserve. Time interval in Japan history for their transformation in recognizing identity will also be explained to illustrate the discussion and debate ofidentity before the second world war to the present. In addition, discussions on measures undertaken by Japan to address the problem of national identity will also be explored in order to analyze the model u..fiied by Japan to address the problem ofnational identity duet 0 globalization and others factor can either be applied by other countries.
