Abstract

This study is aimed at making street performing art as a tourism product in Kuching Sarawak. The objective ofthis study is 10 identify community perceptions on the talent and quality ofstreet musicians and to propose strategies to make street musicians as tourism products in Kuching Sarawak. The location of this research is in Kuching Sarawak. A total of385 respondents were members ofthe community around Kuching Sarawak who were involved in this study. The methods used are quantitative and qualitative method". This research aims to make the street performances as a new tourism product in Kuching Sarawak. The findings will find talent assessment and quality of street musicians and strategies to make peiforming arts as a tourism product in Kuching Sarawak. Hence this study also helps in proposing some strategies 10 be a street performing art as a tourism product to some of the parties concerned.
