Abstract

Music festival and other events are considered as one of important attractions by destination marketers for tourist to come. The purpose of this study is to understand the motivation of audience to attend music festival and the growing popularity of music festival around the world. Music festivals are events that consist of band, musical artists, singer show in a period of day with a large audience. Through field research, the researcher distributed questionnaire to 250 respondents in Kota Samarahan and Kuching, Sarawak.
