Abstract

Quality of the Sindora sp. can be assess by various means and several of them were applied in this study. These qualities are acoustic properties, mechanical properties and anatomical properties. These assets can and had been evaluate throughout this study in addition to applying several treatments. The acoustic test include the Young’s modulus (Ed), internal friction (Q -1) and acoustic conversion efficiency (ACE). On the other hand, the mechanical properties of these samples includes evaluating the flexural modulus (E) on each of the samples with different amount of 4-methyl-pent-2-enoic acid. Through anatomical properties, the characteristics that were observed and analysed were the ray and vessels.
