Abstract

Developments of technology rapidly, have contributed to the industry automotives nowadays. From time to time, number of cars for commercial and personal use has been increasing. Result from number of vehicle been produce have make the road jam packed with the vehicle every time. It become worst when it is start working hour our after office hour. This is called as pick hour or critical hour where the numbers of vehicle increasing in certain area like urban area or industrial area. At this time, traffic light plays a role in to control the traffic jam. An ideal green light time could reduce the traffic jam. To determine the length of green light time, many factors have to be included. In this project, calculation to determine the green light time has been making. This project named as Traffic Light Simulator for cross junction. This project will determine the length of green light time according to the user input. Besides that, this project also calculates the average delay time at each junction. For developing this simulation model, JAVA programming language has been used. Result from this simulation model is to determine the length of green light time for each junction and average delay time for cars before been served.
