Abstract

This study aims to analyze Teochew Puppet & Opera House's operating strategy to sustain, conservate and uphold the Traditional Teochew Puppet Theatre at the Armenian Street, George Town, Penang by applying the sistem theory in organization development by Brown (2011). The research is a qualitative research which encompasses library research, interview and observation methods (field, video and audio). In conclusion, Teochew Puppet & Opera House is a systematic organization as it consist of the five basic qualities of the system theory by Brown (2011).
