Abstract
This research is particularly focus on the State of Malay Traditional Boat at Terengganu. The objectives of this research are to identify the motives and works of art in a Traditional Malay Boat. This research also intent to explore techniques needed in order to build a boat. Based on the research finding, the researcher discovers several motives that have been use in engraving a boat. Some of the examples are motives of flora and fauna. In addition, it is also reported that the techniques of making a boat is still concern with the traditional techniques rather than using the modern techniques.
