Abstract

This study aims to jind out tI,e quality ofheallhcare services and the relationships between thejilctors that ilrjluence the quality ofhealthcare services such as teamwork, commitment. knowledge and skills and care and empathy. A lotal of 82 respondents was randomly chosen from 255 population. Data gathered was analyzed using SPSS ( Stalistical Package for Social Sciences) versioll 11.0. Thejindings showed that 68.3% (56) respondents have high perception of the quality ofhealth care services and Ihatthere is no sigllijicallt relationship between the quality ofhealth care services witlr teamwork (r =0.075. p = 0.501). commitment (r =-0.060. p = 0.594) and knowledge and skills (r =0.308. p = 0.005). However the jltldings showed tlratthere is sigllijicant relatiollslrip between quality ofhealth care services with care and empathy (r = 0.308. p = 0.005). Based on the findings. it is recommended that healthcare organizatioll to conduct more training sessions with all it employees to enSlire that tIle services rendered to the public is of high quality.
