Abstract

The research is a puppet version of an illustrative book design of deliver from Johor kuda kepang fairy tales. This srudy aims to design a puppet version of the book illustrations of stories in Malaysia. Puppet is a person acting under the direction of others as puppets and doll s. The purpose of the puppet is as a tool for the delivery of story and more effective information to reader. Puppet can also be learning tool for children in schools because children are more likely to play with dolls. Most of the readers, especially children find it difflcult to understand and remember the narrations of scenes delivered. Therefore, they need colorful visuals and attractive medium such as the puppet so that they do not get bored easily and can understand the narrative being presented.
