Abstract
Sungkit weaving is one oftraditional handcraft made by Iban society at Sarawak which using technique extra threads are knot to wrap threads one by one to form a design in the textile. This research focuses on application ofbeads using Malay songket weaving and Iban sungkit weaving of Sarawak to create a textural and dimension. At the end of this research, contemporary sungkit weaving produced to make fash.ion accessories such as shawls and clutch.
