Abstract
The thesis is about Peranan Hantu Wanita Dalam Filem Seram Korea. The research focuses on female character as a ghost in a horror films especially in Korea. In this research, the researcher look into the aim and the problems that circle around Korean women in their daily life depend on their role such as a working women, a house wife, a mother or a student. It also unvieled a few questions such as why women always play role as a ghost in a horror films and why the character exist? To look into the character itself, the researcher has applied this research into a short video untittled "MAMA".
