Abstract

Self-Value Excellence Module is written by a group of subject experts in counseling and psychology led by Amalia Madihie PhD from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. The module is based on the 6 Shared Values of the State of Sarawak Government as foundation to achieve vision ~ A world class civil service. Choice Theory is applied as theoretical framework in developing the module and a standard of module development model is implemented too. Self-Value Excellence Module won Silver Medal at the INTEX UNIMAS 2016 in Mac this year. Below is the subject matters: 1. Amalia Madihie PhD (Universiti Malaysia Sarawak) 2. Salmah Mohamad Yusoff (Universiti Malaysia Sarawak) 3. Siti Norazilah Mohd Said (Universiti Malaysia Sarawak) 4. Remy Syarmilla Mohamed Sebli (Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Sarawak) The main idea was proposed in 2015 by Riziandy Nawawi, Ketua Bahagian Sokongan Pekerja, Unit Sumber Manusia Negeri, Jabatan Ketua Menteri Sarawak and assisted by Roseini Mohtar, Penolong Pengarah, Bahagian Sokongan Pekerja, Unit Sumber Manusia Negeri, Jabatan Ketua Menteri Sarawak. Self-Value Excellence Module is an innovation in counselling. The module is a research-based product and awaiting for IP.
